Retweet a tweet on X
Paste a tweet URL in X Platform settings to retweet it from your scheduled post.
PostFast's Tweet URL field lets your scheduled X post retweet an existing tweet. When the post fires, PostFast performs a straight retweet of the target tweet from your connected X account.
Where to find it
- In the composer, open the Post settings panel on the right.
- Click the Platform settings tab.
- Select your X account. You'll see the Tweet URL field.
Retweet a tweet
- Paste the full URL of the tweet you want to retweet into the Tweet URL field.
- Schedule or post as normal.
Your post content and any attached media are ignored when you fill in Tweet URL. PostFast performs a straight retweet of the target tweet, nothing else is published.
Auto-retweet vs Tweet URL
The Tweet URL field retweets someone else's tweet. Auto retweet schedules retweets of your own published post after a delay. The two are independent and can be used together. See Auto-retweet your own X post for how that works.
