Schedule a post to Bluesky

You can schedule, post immediately, or save-as-draft any Bluesky post from PostFast. Bluesky has no built-in scheduler, so PostFast publishes the post for you at the time you pick.

1. Open the composer

From the sidebar, click New Post at the top. You'll land on the Create post composer.

2. Add content

• Write your post text. Bluesky allows up to 300 characters, and the counter shows how much room you have left.
• Attach either up to 4 images or one MP4 video. A Bluesky post cannot carry images and a video at the same time.
• Images: .jpeg, .png, .gif or .webp, up to 2 MB each.
• Video: .mp4, up to 100 MB.

3. Choose your Bluesky account

• In the Post settings panel on the right, open the Schedule tab.
• Select your Bluesky account. You can cross-post to other platforms at the same time, and each platform's limit is checked separately.

4. Schedule, post, or save

Still in the Schedule tab on the right:

• Click Pick time to schedule the post for a specific time.
• Click Post now to publish immediately.
• Click the arrow next to Post now to Save as Draft inside PostFast.

What Bluesky does not support in PostFast

• No Platform settings tab. Bluesky has no per-platform options, so nothing appears for it under Platform settings.
• No first comment. The First Comment field in the composer is disabled when a Bluesky account is selected.
• No reply chains. A chain of self-replies is not scheduled from PostFast. Post the first message from PostFast, then reply from the Bluesky app.
• No per-post analytics. PostFast does not collect metrics for Bluesky posts.
