Schedule a post to LinkedIn (profile or company Page)

PostFast connects both LinkedIn personal profiles and company Pages, and you pick the target per post.

1. Open the composer

From the sidebar, click New Post at the top. You'll land on the Create post composer.

2. Add content

• Write your post text. LinkedIn allows up to 3,000 characters.
• Attach a single image, several images (up to 10), or one video. Images and video cannot be mixed in the same post.
• Recommended image size is 1200 x 627 px (1.91:1). See the LinkedIn post size guide.

3. Choose your LinkedIn account

• In the Post settings panel on the right, open the Schedule tab.
• Select the LinkedIn profile or company Page the post should go to. You can cross-post to other platforms at the same time.

4. Platform settings (optional)

In the Post settings panel, open the Platform settings tab:

• Document Attachment - attach a .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt or .pptx file (max 60 MB). LinkedIn renders it in the feed as a multi-slide document.
• Document Title - an optional display title for the attachment. Without one, LinkedIn shows "Document".
• Mentions - tag a company by its LinkedIn URL slug (the part after /company/), or paste the full LinkedIn URL.

5. Schedule, post, or save

Still in the Schedule tab on the right:

• Click Pick time to schedule the post for a specific time.
• Click Post now to publish immediately.
• Click the arrow next to Post now to Save as Draft inside PostFast.

Good to know

• Analytics are available for company Pages only. PostFast collects metrics for LinkedIn Page posts. LinkedIn's API does not expose them for personal profiles.
• First comments are not available on LinkedIn. The First Comment field in the composer is disabled when a LinkedIn account is selected.
• You can schedule up to one year ahead on any plan.
