Publish to TikTok from PostFast drafts
Schedule TikTok videos and carousels from PostFast. You can publish directly, schedule for later, or push to TikTok as a draft for last-minute edits inside the TikTok app.
You can schedule, directly post, or save-as-draft any TikTok video or carousel from PostFast. This guide walks through each option, plus the TikTok-specific Platform Settings you can tune before publishing.
1. Open the composer
From the sidebar, click New Post at the top. You'll land on the Create post composer.
2. Add content
- Add the base content you'd use for the TikTok post.
- Attach images (for a carousel) or a video.
3. Choose your TikTok account
- In the Post settings panel on the right, open the Schedule tab.
- Select your TikTok account. You can cross-post to other platforms at the same time.
4. Platform settings (optional)
In the Post settings panel, open the Platform settings tab to tune TikTok-specific options:
- Publish as draft - tick this if you want to edit the post inside the TikTok app before it goes live. The post appears in TikTok's Inbox → System Notifications on your device, ready to be finalized.
- Sound - choose No sound (Original sound only on a video), Auto: TikTok picks a sound, or Choose a trending sound from TikTok's Commercial Music Library, filtered by Genre and Trending period. On a video, Auto isn't available, and a chosen track and the video's original sound both play at 50% volume. Some accounts need a one-time reconnect before a specific sound can be picked.
Sounds picked in PostFast are applied on direct publish only, not on TikTok drafts. If you tick Publish as draft, add the sound in the TikTok app when you publish it.
5. Schedule, post, or save
Back in the Schedule tab on the right:
- Click Pick time to schedule the post for a specific time.
- Click Post now to publish immediately.
- Click the arrow next to Post now to Save as Draft (inside PostFast, not TikTok).
